Our team at Alpine Animal Hospital believes that a career in veterinary medicine should be a collaborative, fulfilling, exciting journey complemented with the ongoing opportunity for growth and development. If our philosophy resonates with your vision for your career, we invite you to apply for our Associate Veterinarian position. We continue to experience consistent growth and currently have opportunities for both a small animal associate as well as a mixed animal associate.
At Alpine you’ll find an enthusiastic, dedicated doctor team, supported by well-trained and professional support staff, working in sync to make the following mission a reality: To honor the bond between our valued clients and their animals – whether that animal is a member of the family, working companion or your livelihood. Our compassionate and knowledgeable health care team achieves this through partnering with you to deliver cutting edge medicine and surgery. Together, we strive to create a happy, healthy and productive life for your pet and to enhance your relationship with them.
From our small animal to large animal facilities, to the equipment and diagnostics at your fingertips, we strive to equip our veterinarians with the tools and support to provide the highest level of care. Whether your professional interests center around interacting with clients in the exam room or devoting time in the surgery suite, or a combination of both, we have the flexibility to accommodate. Upon hiring, we’ll sit down with you to explore your professional aspirations and, if appropriate, develop a plan with you to ensure you’re doing what brings you joy in practice. A new graduate veterinarian will have the chance to work with our Medical Director and craft a mentorship plan, which can be as formal or informal as you like, to help ensure your on-going growth and development.
We understand that life outside of practice is equally as important to the job itself. In your free time, you’ll find ample outdoor opportunities. With Pebble Creek Ski Area southeast of town, the beautiful Snake River and American Falls Reservoir to the west and unlimited hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails right in your backyard, you are never more than 30 minutes from your next adventure. Pocatello and Chubbuck also boast of great schools and a tight knit community that will make you and your family feel right at home.
