Dr. Weisser knew she wanted to be a veterinarian after getting her first ever dog, a yorkie named Brandy. She loves that veterinary medicine is the perfect marriage of science and a passion for animals. She received her undergraduate degree from Berry College, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University. She finds great fulfillment in the challenges and triumphs of being a veterinarian, and has found it to be an incredibly rewarding career.

Dr. Weisser’s favorite thing about her job is seeing the bond between her patients and their families, and helping pets live long, healthy lives alongside the families that love them so much. She also loves working on a team that loves and cares for animals as much as she does.

Dr. Weisser’s childhood dog, Brandy, is who ultimately triggered her deep passion for animals, and drove her to the field of veterinary medicine. She also has another yorkie named Max, who is living out his golden years with her parents back home in Kansas. She now has a golden retriever named Doug that she and her boyfriend can bring along on all their new Idaho adventures. Outside of work, Dr. Weisser loves hiking, hunting, fishing and kayaking. She also enjoys traveling to new places, and discovering unique places to try new food.
