TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy)
Alpine Animal Hospital is immensely proud to have been offering the Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) procedure since 2008. This advanced orthopedic procedure is the gold standard treatment for
ruptured cruciate ligaments, commonly referred to as the ACL.
Cranial cruciate ligament injuries are the most common acute hind-end injuries in dogs, often occurring in dogs that are young and active. This procedure stabilizes the knee, and eliminates the need for the cruciate ligament, reducing the chance of re-injury. After surgery and recovery, your companion will have 95-98% normal leg function, and can continue doing the things they love most.
Dr. Haymore and his experienced staff are dedicated to getting your running partner, hunting buddy or farm hand recovered, and back to full activity with this cutting edge procedure.

Stem Cell Therapy
Is your pet slow to get up from lying down? Does she have difficulty using the stairs? Or doesn’t chase the ball like he once did? Arthritis affects 65% of dogs and cats over the age of 7 years, and Alpine
Animal Hospital is proud to provide Stem Cell Therapy, the only proven regenerative therapy that will help improve your pet’s quality of life.
We harvest stem cells from your pet’s own adipose tissue (fat cells) and process everything on site, allowing for same day procedures and joint injections. A visit of just a few hours can give your pet years of relief from arthritis and joint pain.
