Originally from Pocatello, Idaho, Sean discovered his passion for veterinary medicine during a visit to Alpine Animal Hospital, where his mother worked. Watching her care for an animal sparked a deep interest in the field, eventually leading Sean to join the Alpine team.
Sean’s favorite part of the job is the mystery that comes with each case—using different tools and knowledge to uncover a diagnosis keeps every day interesting. At home, he shares his life with Gunner, his 10-month-old pit mix who has a taste for, well, everything.
When he’s not at the clinic, Sean enjoys playing baseball and spending time with friends. His family includes his mom Kendra (a fellow Alpine team member) and his dad, a butcher—an unexpected but amusing pairing that keeps life interesting.
A few fun facts: Sean is left-handed, can make most of his body pop (yep, that’s his secret talent), and has an aversion to snakes. He’s a steak lover, a dedicated dog person, and is working toward completing his undergraduate degree with plans to become a veterinarian in the next few years.
