Samantha Iveson is a dedicated Veterinary Technician originally from Wells, Nevada. From a young age, she had a strong passion for the veterinary field, always knowing she wanted to work with animals. This passion eventually led her to Pocatello, where she moved to pursue her education and found an opportunity at Alpine Animal Hospital.
Working with animals is Samantha’s favorite part of the job, as she absolutely adores them. She shares her life with two beloved pets: Jaxx, a sweet dog she’s had since he was just eight weeks old in 2017, and Buzz, a talented horse who excels in roping and working cows.
Samantha’s family is an essential part of her life, with her mom, dad, stepdad, and four older siblings providing constant support and encouragement. She is especially proud of her achievements in athletics, having made it to the state championships in track, including a 2024 state title in the 4x200m relay.
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys rodeo, running, and indulging in her favorite foods—steak and sushi. She has an adventurous spirit, with plans to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in radiology and travel to the Maldives in the next five years. Despite her love for animals, caterpillars and snakes are two creatures she prefers to avoid.
